We are placing all the details for the 2010 Keuring on this page for your convenience, as we approach the annual hosting of the KFPS/FHANA Friesian Horse Keuring (inspection). We hope this page will help you prepare for the event, whether you are showing horses or attending as a spectator.
The Ontario Friesian Horse Association continues to host this yearly event, as the second largest Keuring site in North America. We expect to see close to 70 horses come to be judged for some of the most coveted predicates and premies of the breed. We are excited to once again have two days of exiting judging, and now back in the Paris area, at a large location with all the ammenities that have been requested over the years from show participants.

DATE & START TIMES:
September 21 & 22, 2010 are the dates set aside for Ontario.
Both days are to start at 9:00am sharp. If you miss your horse's category when in comes up in the schedule it will be at the discrection of the judges whether or not they will see your horse later in the day. We encourage you to be early, giving you lots of time for on-site registration.
Below is the judging order. Should there be entries in categories 10, 11, 14 & 18 they will be judged on Wednesday, September 22.

LOCATION:
We will be at the Paris Agricultural Society's Fairgrounds for 2010. This facility will have lots of space for parking, stalls for horses, and showing and warm-up areas.
This year we will be showing on a grass surface, please ensure you have any concerns regarding this type of surface addressed with your farrier.

REGISTRATION:
FHANA requires you to register your horses for the Keuring by August 1st, 2010. This means having the forms and money to the FHANA office by this date, to avoid late charges. Please note that IBOP test will not be accepted after the August 1st deadline.

STALLS*:
The PAS and OFHA have worked out an arrangement for the use of the on-site stalls. The cost will be $40 per calendar day, no matter how long or brief your horse(s) is in the stall. A sign-up form for this, the runners and the OFHA's Best competitions will be made available later.
JUDGES:
We will welcome the following judges for this year's Keuring:

RUNNERS*:
The OFHA is providing a running team, for those not able to run their own horses. The charge is $50 per horse, including any repeat appearances. Confirmed to date are the following runners:
